Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Alex looks after Suntory Global Spirits' global operations, including 19 distilleries, bottling plants and our supply chain, procurement and quality functions.
In 2023, Alex joined Suntory Global Spirits after a 15-year career at Brown Forman where he was Senior Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer and Director of ESG. Before that, Alex was Senior Vice President, Chief Production and Sustainability Officer. Earlier in his career, Alex held manufacturing and operations roles at General Mills and Procter & Gamble.
Alex sits on several boards including the DendriFund, the American Forest Foundation and the Community Foundation of Louisville. In 2021, Latino Leaders Magazine called Alex a ‘Top Latino in Corporate America’.
Originally from Panama, Alex holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business.
