SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer

What is your leadership philosophy?

Paula: Set clear expectations, align objectives to the bigger picture strategy of the company and then set your team free! Empower them to do what you hired them for … to bring their talents and expertise to the company while building their personal career. Oh yeah … and have some great fun along the way!

What was your first job?

Paula: I started delivering newspapers in the third grade! In high school, I was a cashier at my local Ace Hardware and upon graduating from college I landed my first full-time job as an entry-level corporate communications professional at Ace’s corporate headquarters. What a fabulous company!

What do you like to do with your free time outside of work? Hobbies etc.

Paula: My life is packed full, so I absolutely love spending precious time with my family – sneaking out for quiet dinners with my husband and watching my children do all their activities. I also relish having some great “girlfriend time” … some of whom I’ve been best of friends with since first grade.

What’s your Beam Suntory drink of choice?
