Deerfield, Illinois, October 14, 2011 – Beam Inc. (NYSE: BEAM), a leading global premium spirits company, will offer a live Internet webcast of its third quarter results conference call. The webcast will be available under “Webcasts and Presentations” in the Investors section of the company’s web site, www.beamglobal.com, beginning at 10:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, November 3, 2011. It is recommended that listeners log on 10 minutes prior to the start of the call.

The conference call will feature comments on Beam’s third quarter results by president & chief executive officer Matt Shattock and chief financial officer Bob Probst. The company plans to report results for the third quarter on the morning of November 3rd, prior to the conference call.
