It all began in 2009, in a tiny workshop in Hammersmith, London. Two childhood friends, Fairfax and Sam, and their partner Jared, set up London’s first traditional copper distillery for nearly 200 years. Their mission was simple: to bring London Dry Gin of truly uncompromising quality and character, back to the city where it first earned its name.
Sipsmith has re-introduced the art of handcrafted, small-batch gin production to the capital. Voted Craft Distillery of the Year in 2015 and the world’s 4th top trending gin according to the World’s Top 50 Bars 3 years in a row. Sipsmith handcraft their gin using uncompromising methods of London’s Distillers past and has now won over 30 international awards with their London Dry gin, and alongside that crafts Sloe Gin, Summer Cup, V.J.O.P gins in addition to both Sipping and Damson Vodka.
Juniper forward, with very classic notes, Sipsmith® is perfect for a Gin & Tonic or classic cocktail, yet so smooth it has to be tried to be believed in a martini.
