Hiroshi Miyamori

SVP, Advisor to the CEO

Hiroshi Miyamori serves as SVP, Advisor to the CEO of Beam Suntory Inc., the world’s third largest premium spirits company. Appointed to this executive leadership role in April 2015, Miyamori acts as a primary liaison between Suntory Holdings and Beam Suntory Inc. leadership personnel. This role provides key executive support to Beam Suntory CEO Matt Shattock, managing the preparation and outcomes of Beam Suntory Executive Leadership Team meetings, while facilitating effective communication with Suntory Holdings. In addition to serving on the Executive Leadership Team, Miyamori sits on the Board of Beam Suntory.

In June of 2014, Miyamori relocated to Beam Suntory’s Deerfield, Ill. headquarters to support the integration of Suntory and Beam’s brand portfolio as VP, Global Marketing – Suntory Brands. With his extensive experience in marketing, Miyamori continues to play a key role in helping Beam Suntory establish the Japanese whisky category globally.

Miyamori brings breadth and depth of experience to his role, having run Suntory’s spirits and wine business in Europe, led the integration of Orangina Schweppes into Suntory, and managed Supply Chain for Orangina Schweppes as Executive Vice President & Group Operations Director. In his 30-year career at Suntory, Miyamori has spent half that time outside of Japan in key roles in London, Barcelona, Bangkok and Deerfield.

Miyamori received his Bachelor of Economics degree from Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. He loves classical music and is an avid follower of the Lyric Opera and Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He and his wife reside in Evanston, Ill.
